Understanding Mistakes... Part 2
Tennis is a very forgiving sport with regards to mistakes. About 80-90% of these mistakes either go into the net or long. The wide mistake percentage may go up a little more in doubles due to players trying to angles to keep the ball away from the net players.
Summer is in full swing at ASRC! I hope you are getting a chance to enjoy time with family and friends on either the tennis courts, in the pool or both.

Understanding Mistakes
In tennis, you could begin a game by hitting three straight double-faults and still win the game. It is a game of errors and mistake management more than it is about hitting winners.
June already? Where has the year gone?
It was great to see many members, families and friends of members at the Memorial Day social. The dark clouds and spotty rain did not dampen the ASRC spirit as we socialized with each other while being mindful of those who have served and continue to serve so we may enjoy the freedoms we do in this great nation.
This is a FREE event not to be missed if you play or are interested in USTA tennis. All three of our tennis pros (Richard, Ravi & Kathy) will be putting on games and drills. Also, there will be bbq, water and soda available. It is also an opportunity to try our brand new ball machine which will make its debut at this event.
