FROM THE BOARDby Steve Spring, President

Greetings fellow ASRC members; I hope everyone enjoyed an inspiring holiday season and is looking forward to the New Year. As the new president for the ASRC board of directors this calendar year, I am very much looking forward to sharing and collaborating with members like you about the business of the ASRC. At the same time, I’m hoping to enjoy the fine tradition ASRC has created in the community as a healthy and rewarding environment for my family, your families and our guests.

TENNIS AREA REPAIR PROJECT

The following areas will be repaired over the next few weeks:

The bleacher area in between courts 3&4
The tennis bulletin board in between courts 3&4
The tennis observation deck (general repairs)
The tennis observation deck staircase
The two tennis patio staircases
All wood power washed, stripped and stained
3 retaining walls built behind seating areas near court 6.

All of these repairs will be done in the next 4 weeks or so.

FROM THE BOARDby Steve Spring, President

I hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday. Be sure to consider including plenty of visits to ASRC as a counter balance to all the holiday parties and good food and drink that typically accompany this time of year.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for allowing me the privilege of serving as your board president during 2013. I learned a great deal about club operations and the various nuances of managing a not-for-profit swim and tennis club during my two years on the board.
