If you've been to the pool recently you've probably noticed our pool deck is in need of repair. Well…there is good reason for that, its 43 years old! Good news, the Board and management have arranged for the pool deck to be transformed from a 1970’s pool deck to a 2013 pool deck.

Being prepared in mind, body and soul can help reduce the number of injuries and slow starts. Proper warm-up and being prepared in only one or two of these areas can contribute to a slow start and put the player in a position to have to come from behind to win.

If you haven’t seen the courts yet make sure to come down and hit a few balls. The courts are beautiful and will surely provide the best playing conditions in Almaden!

I hope you all enjoyed the last "official" weekend of summer '13 (Labor Day) with friends and family. As we head into fall there is much going on at the club.

Our club manager Dan has moved swiftly forward on the charter set out by the board earlier this summer specific to club repairs.
